I have to build a stud wall, never done one before, I have access to plenty of good instructional videos so Im not concerned about that part, but I need to build it around a bay window. I was going to make a window seat out of the bay area, there is nothing their currently, so I need to undrstand how the stud wall will work. Do I simply put in the floor piece up to where I want to window seat to go? and then do the same at the other side of the window so ill end up with basically 2 short stud walls with a piece above the window joining both stud walls together?

Yes.

The tricky part is working out finishing thicknesses of the varying materials like the plasterboard, skirting etc, relative to how you position the various elements of the stud.
As with any stud wall, you work out the footprint position and either fix your sole plate first and construct everything off this, or pre-assemble a stud frame and fix this into position.

If possible, construct the frame first then fix it in place. It's easier.

This is the wall. My issue is not knoeing hiw to build a stud wall where the window goes in. I think i have an idea but not sure

You seat idea might result in a very narrow seat once you have the insulation in there.

I would keep the stud wall flat (hope that makes sense) infront of that ingress so the whole wall is flat. The ingress gap then filled with extra insulation.

And then put in a large (deep) windowsill.

That will also extenuate the thickness of the walls and make house look more solid.
