It’s ok to cry

Years ago before I was married
I do when I get stressed or excited or in trouble or when miserable or depressed or nervous or unsure where I am if I get lost or stuck on ground level working,

yes the hoist is electric, now we have to keep our engine running to use the hoist. Our new ones are battery operated hydraulics. We have 7 of them coming 1st of May. Apparantly just one joystick control and a home button that brings us down the way we came up.

But under the hood where it counts, it's a noisy, smelly, dirty diesel with a massive carbon footprint to annoy the tree huggers?

Not one of those whiney milkfloats. ;)

No, we cover such wide areas that they have to be diesel under the hood. The tree huggers were always complaining that when we are parked and up working at the top of the light that we have to have our engines running to work our hoists.

Were you reunited?
Gutted mate, I took it out of the service bay and first job I got too the hoist didnt work, then no air conditioning and then jumping out of gear, took it back in and it is now on a ramp.

How can you have air conditioning in an open basket?

I have been told 1st of May for delivery of my new hoist. Got to gointo the rackers next week to design the new layout to hoow we want it. I am so excited and insist that I have a kitchen area

I have had a roof put on it so I can work in the rain, a barbeque installed with a pizza oven for the summer. I am so alfresco
and of course all this dining will be done over 12 meters in the air. My manager is making sure that we tether the pizza to our harnesses as that would be terrible dropping a hot pizza onto someones head.

I have a photo of the lady with the oil patch on her head I took from my bucket as she walked away you can clearly see a small oil patch from my rag, I don't know what all of the fuss was over
