I doubt very much that Britain still has got this true grit and to sustain us through another long war. Too many woke views and ideals which wasn't even a thing back in those days. Judging by the type of responses you get on this site for example. Not a bloody chance. Thoughts on this?

Cause as the wokies like to tell us, all we need to do with the global bullies is sit down, have a nice cuppa, and talk. That's the way to resolve these issues. We need no army, no defences, all we need is a cuppa

I will re phrase my question as already receiving accusations. I am not talking of our armed forces as they currently stand, the regular forces are prepared, trained and ready for this. I am talking about conscripts which would be needed like in WW2. They was a different generation with a different view and mindset.
