Hi,

I've insulated my shed but haven't done the door yet.
My idea was to use left over 25mm board along with some spacers to create an air gap. Then use some thin Plywood board to cover the insulation.
Would this work?

does the inside off the door ever get wet from penetration from the outside??
being a door and easily acsesable if its never known to leak, i would take the risk and not leave an air gap because the deeper the door the more clearance[leading edge] required
if it does leak you can always disassemble the door 'try and rewaterproof it and iff that fails thin down the insulation to give an air gap

I've had no leaks or noticed any water on the inside of the door.
There wouldn't be much room for an air gap as the leftover insulation board i have is 25mm and the door frame is about 35mm (can't remember exact size of timber).
