Are you not concerned that Trump's erratic behaviour impacts us?
We have a trade deficit with the US (since 2015), nevertheless, he decided to penalise us with a baseline 10% tariff. He did the same to Australia, even though they had a free trade agreement with America (and a trade deficit).
He is the most powerful moron on the planet, and potentially, could trigger a global recession.
Is there actually a big picture?
Basically Trumps vindictive bullying behaviour and desperate need for attention is the driving force.
The big picture seems to be the West is having to manage a personality disorder whilst Russia, Chine etc are looking for ways to exploit him.
We will just have to wait until Americans start to be affected enough to pressure the Republicans to curtail him.
