Does anyone know what, or who started/called for this inquiry?

You are typical of why these sort of incidents should be dealt with by. the MOD, any crimes found then hand over to the Police for further investigation. Not a subject that is of any interest for the public to know about until a crime has been identified.Leave it to the soldires toinvestigate the soldiers,
That hasn't worked so far. Quite the opposite, it's created an atmosphere of denial, secrecy and suspected widespread war crimes.
That's not good for the service as a whole, nor for the international reputation of the UK.
If the UK and the US ignore the rules, why should other be expected to respect them.
In addiiton, if UK ignore the rules and blatantly break them, it's not surprising if IEDs and the like are used to cause maximum pain and innocent bystanders are considered 'collateral damage'.

You clearly are unable to diferrentiate between soldiers and civilians. So what about scenario like this you are on a mission that requires you to enter a property where you know the Intel/hostages are kept everything has to be done in stealth so as not to end up in a firefight with hundreds after you. So as you proceed through the building you slit the throats of everyone sleeping within the building so no alarm is raised....is this a war crime because you never gave them a chance. ?

What are their names?Special forces troops complained about the actions of other special forces troops.

Probably by the MOD after viewing the footage of body cams.Does anyone know what, or who started/called for this inquiry?
It's not about entering a building and murdering everyone inside neither..Modern warfare is not laying on your belly shouting at targets a couple of hundred yards away

Soldiers A and B called out C and D.What are their names?
Of course it's not, it breeds revenge, more violence, international disgust and suspicion of disregard for rules.Sometimes that is for the greater good.

Have A and B given testimony under oath?Soldiers A and B called out C and D.

You have read a one page BBC report on this. You do not know any of the facts other than what you have read. Our special forces are what makes our military presence respected the world over. You are condemning some pretty switched on guys that do an incredible job of keeping this country secure by doing what you consider immoral. These type of investigations are best left to the MOD to deal with. You clearly are unable to diferrentiate between soldiers and civilians.
And the supposed ex-soldier thanks you for your comment.
Why bother entering the building if you are intent on murdering everyone inside?
You're obvious not the brightest. And the ex-soldier not only agrees with you, he thinks you're on the money.![]()
In that case they were either wantonly reckless and unnecessary violent, or ignoring orders, because if that was what was intenioned they would have just bombed the building. If I told you I would have to kill you.. if you read thread you will see I have mentioned I have a mate in the sas also have one in sbs who have discussed missions they and there squadron mates have been on . I also said I have seen classified rescue mission and no there was no questions asked . As they took everyone out.

It's not about entering a building and murdering everyone inside neither.
If that's what you intend to do, just drop a bomb on them.![]()

How/?Of course it's not, it breeds revenge, more violence, international disgust and suspicion of disregard for rules.
