BRINO Deal

I have had people approach me in the park offering pet passports for my dog without rabies vaccination.
no you havent

thats not a thing

Yes its so uncommon the government doesn't have a process for reporting it... oh wait
that about bringing pets into the UK not British holiday makers taking their dog to France etc

American.

yes American

I'm not going to name the vets prosecuted, but their stories can be found easily.

you only started furiously googling when you got caught out, ya little liar :ROFLMAO:

are you saying those businesses etc do not support the deal?
The deal is obviously so good the Labour PR machine has to produce an infographic to defend it.

It's obviously wrong. There are many more expressing concerns.

yes American

the only liar is you Notch. Again. I provided you with some information, you whined that it was a US source, so I provided you some that was from a UK and European source. You whined again.

Seems you just want to pretend its not a problem.

At least Rabies isn't a particularly nasty way to die, that is usually fatal unless treated before symptoms show. Oh wait. it is.

you mean the likes of Farage, the Daily Express, Andrew Neil, Littlejohn and all the other grifting liars who pushed through brexit that caused all the problems in the first place

yeah those people dont count

you really are thoroughly dishonest, you claimed:

"everyone knows a vet who will issue them without the vaccines"

when challenged you then linked some American sites -which didnt prove your point, and neither do your UK site links which you eventually found

and everyone knows a "vet" who will issue them without the vaccines.
thats a lie

you liar

you claimed pet passports already exist and when challenged you then link to a .gov site about a pet health certificate
which enable you to take your pet to the EU for longer than you are allowed to visit. So we already have the ability. (y)

The availability of fraudulent vet health certificates is widespread. It may be too literal to say "everyone knows" as clearly you are a pet owner and don't know, but the fact remains they are easy to obtain. (y)

An Animal Health Certificate is a once only use, for exporting a live animal.
Why would anyone want to take their pet into the EU, and then leave it there, while they must return home?
If they were content to leave their pet for six month periods in another country, why wouldn't they leave the pet in the UK?
You've imagined a hypothetical scenario that wouldn't normally occur.
If someone takes their "animal" to the EU and leaves it there, it has been exported, and it is not a pet that they like to accompany them.

If the Animal health Certificates are available, and genuine ones cost £100 - £300, so fake ones will be even more expensive, and you need one for each trip, why would anyone bother?
Why would someone pay an inordinate amount of money to break the rules, when a genuine Pet Passport only costs £60 - £100 and lasts for the whole life of the pet, and doesn't break the law?
You're so wrapped up in your ideological mania that you are imagining nonsensical scenarios to try to pour cold water on the new deal.
This argument is a typical one for you, creating imaginary scenarios that no-one in their right mind would possibly consider.
It would be like a thief breaking into a jewelers to pay his bill, each time his watch needed a new battery. It's absolutely bonkers! :ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO:

It was nothing more than an observation that the rules for animals are more flexible than the rules for humans. Also pointing out that the Schengen 90/180 rule is bonkers.

Because people do not want to give their animal the rather nasty rabies vaccine.

It is good that you now recognise that your scenarios were bonkers.

Also pointing out that the Schengen 90/180 rule is bonkers.
It was a development of Brexit. I thought you were always a supporter of Brexit and its implications.

Because people do not want to give their animal the rather nasty rabies vaccine.
They prefer to risk their animals catching rabies, or even being euthanised, and themselves being prosecuted?
Any side effects of the vaccine usually subside within a day or two. Rabies kills, permanently.

Well, there will always be stupid people, what?

They were along with others, valid scenarios. But they were not the point being made

I've been fairly clear that like most I could see the strengths and weaknesses of leave and remain. I was on the fence for much of the run up and only slightly pushed to "leave", based on where the EU was heading. I was not persuaded by either the leave or remain campaigns, they were as nonsense as each other.

I have been fortunate, Brexit has enabled business opportunities and significant personal savings.

I agree, though the risk for a UK pet going to the EU and back for a couple of months is likely to be extremely low. The risk of illegally imported dogs is far higher to the UK. Something that the UK vet industry noted. Rabies is a nasty way to go - animal or human.
