No it doesn't. Israel do not have the amount of troops needed to fight a ground war against Iran. Israel have air superiority over Iran and that is their best option. Ground fighting a war on someone elses turf is extremely disadvantageous.

Fully agree, but Iran would be far superior on the ground and on their own territory than Israel. Iran have more troops available for a ground war. The Ukranians are making great use of drones and are disabling more tanks and arrmour through the use of drones than their own ground soldiers are doing. The ground soldiers are literally holding lines and why we are seeing a stalemate situation before the use of these drones. Russia are killing the Ukranians through sheer numbers of ground troops.

I used to think they would. But more recently I have been reading that, more than anything, Saudi wants regional stability and was even hoping to work together with Iran on nuclear projects. It's all very complex and murky.
