It's really quite hard to make a decent nuclear weapon. Instead of fission you get what they refer to as a fizzle. Hence all that testing underground, on islands, and whatnot. I don't know how far the Iranians have got with that, not having the requisite fissile material, yet.
I would have thought:
If the Iranians close Hormuz they get blown to bits (US), or
If Iranians attack US facilities their missile sites get the treatment the Houthis got.
If sustained hits (Israeli) grind them down the people (there's 90 million of em, high proportion of which are < age35) could pressure the government to allow inspectors in, destroy the enrichment equipment, etc, give up nuke weapon aspirations, to be left alone.
Israelis would hit anything, just to be a pain. Or just because it's there. Or for no particular reason, there might always be a bad guy in there.
The IAEA have reports on all the breaches by Iran.
The Iranians have destroyed much of the monitoring equipment apparently. There are new monitoring methods eg from satellites. So ...???
USS Harry. S Truman is on its way to take care of Yemen. This spells out an American involvement.
I was under some old lino once and there was a newspaper from 1947. A 3 inch article spoke of a new Doctrine which that nice Mr Truman had set out.
It pledges American support for democratic nations against authoritarian threats.
Mr Trump didn't read it.
