It's really quite hard to make a decent nuclear weapon. Instead of fission you get what they refer to as a fizzle. Hence all that testing underground, on islands, and whatnot. I don't know how far the Iranians have got with that, not having the requisite fissile material, yet.
I would have thought:
If the Iranians close Hormuz they get blown to bits (US), or
If Iranians attack US facilities their missile sites get the treatment the Houthis got.
If sustained hits (Israeli) grind them down the people (there's 90 million of em, high proportion of which are < age35) could pressure the government to allow inspectors in, destroy the enrichment equipment, etc, give up nuke weapon aspirations, to be left alone.
Israelis would hit anything, just to be a pain. Or just because it's there. Or for no particular reason, there might always be a bad guy in there.

The Iranians have destroyed much of the monitoring equipment apparently. There are new monitoring methods eg from satellites. So ...???

On the subject of Refugees and asylum seekers, there is a simple solution to the problem which is plain to see. Stop creating them by stopping the wars. It is crazy in this day and age to start these wars, it is the politicians that cannot get along and not the people.
Yes the prooblem is then escalating it into a full on all out WW3 scenario., any peace deal at any cost would be a favourable outcome to what is coming.
Because they are part of NATO and they are going along with what Europe is doing. Trump has come into power and is saying stop the war. It is costing billions and so many innocent people are being killed. For what? I have not got all of the answers but I would sooner sit around a table to discuss it rather than send men out to fight

That is my stance on wars in general, this Iranian war is inevitable and needed. Also this Iranian war will not create refugees as it is a military campaign and will involve very few civilian casualtys.

Yep. All the arm wavers, when Tony and George invaded Iraq, couldn't get enough violence and were backing the war from the beginning. Soon changed their tune when they had a stick to beat him with.
