What do most do when putting central heating in to a home with floorboards copper or plastic?

Being an old school luddite, I would always opt for copper with capillary jointed fittings.
Copper and good soldering
Just means taking more floorboards up possibly.
not always more, quite easy to feed copper under floor boards
Have to put the pipes in well get them close then come back and pipe the rads when the plasterer has done. With plastic I have stuck abit of plastic up out of the floor with it being flexible at the pipe centres for the rad. How would you do this with copper pipe plasterer
