Decent hand tools for cutting skirting

Hi,

I need to cut just two lengths of skirting to replace the skirting on two walls. The skirting joins at an internal corner.

I am simply using a plain board and a separate bead that I will attach at the top of the skirting. It seems a lot of people advise scribing an internal corner. Was not sure if needed given that the skirting is simply two boards with an attached bead

The angle of the internal corner is more than 90 degrees.

I don't want to spend a lot on tools, what tools do I need to do this?

See attached photo of skirting I am matching to.

Thanks for the help,
Ms Dogood

A saw and some sandpaper from Poundland.

Pick up a free pencil from Screwfix. and use any old book for a square.

As its sunny, have two lollypops in the garden then join the sticks together with a drawing pin to make a bevel for the angles

Wouldn't you need two drawing pins? The first to hold them together whilst you get the angle and a second to lock that angle in place.

Regardless, a good idea though. Kudos.

Swiss Army Penknife will do all that, and has a corkscrew for when you’ve finished!
