Ssssssshhhhhh, don't mention Reform.

“According to a new report”

Where’s the report?
The "report" is old news, it's all done and in sercos website calling for landlords with these benefits. -- note long term lease. It's 5 years.

I would wage that Reform will be the next government. Nobody is ever going to vote for Conservative
Did you not know the Reform party is a bunch of Tory Thatcherites.

It’s just a harder version of neo liberalism that has failed this country for the last 45 years.

Why do you want a party whose policies have done so much damage to this country?

So enlighten us to who is the savior of the country, not Labour nor conservative so who is left?

Where does it say 5 years?
They have removed their advert because of the outcry but this is a direct quote taken from their site before they took it down.

"Serco invites landlords to lease properties under long-term agreements
Through a dedicated online platform headlined Calling All Landlords, Serco has outlined its offer: “Our purpose is the provision of accommodation, transportation and subsistence payments for asylum seekers whilst their claims are being processed. We are responsible for over 30,000 asylum seekers in an ever-growing portfolio of more than 7,000 properties.”

“Our operating model is based on leasing properties from a wide network of landlords, investors and agents with Serco acting as a tenant. We want to work with you and will consider all types of properties in the North West, Midlands or East of England. These include traditional HMOs, family property, former care homes, residential and student accommodation.”

Landlords interested in participating are encouraged to complete an online form or contact Serco directly for more information. Unlike conventional lettings, the scheme offers the advantage of guaranteed rent for a substantial five-year period — something that may appeal to landlords seeking stability in an otherwise volatile rental market".

Just forget it, you have lost this one, it's 5 years, all landlord forums are talking about it. I would of thought you would be supporting it.
You will find out soon enough in your little white village as they move out of your local hotel and into the village rental properties

Yes, they'll consider it. Not the original claim at all.

Dunno what the original claim was but that item says they would offer a guaranteed 5 year rental term, not 'consider' one. The only consideration mentioned by Serco was about the type of properties they would consider - traditional HMOs, family property, former care homes, residential and student accommodation
