Base line tennis seemed to start with Borg and his run of Wimbledon titles

Borg was a hybrid. He started as a pure baseliner but learnt to serve and volley in order to win Wimbledon. But he still played from the baseline on his second serve.

I think McEnroe would struggle. He was such a finesse player.

Connors probably wouldn't have the outright power or athleticism.

I believe Borg would probably cope best. He was a beast of an athlete. Incredibly strong with amazing stamina. I think he would be most similar to Nadal.
