Observing a health and safety course. They offered me a cup of tea then did this to get the kettle to work. I had to slap a wrist!

There’s a Covid variant doing the rounds with these symptoms
I suggested that to Avril, she insisted it couldn't be Covid. I have not been able to enjoy a proper meal since then, until today's dinner.
Our friend had the same symptoms a couple of weeks ago. Symptoms lasted over a week.
This more or less fits...
'Common symptoms of Nimbus include a severe sore throat, fatigue, mild cough, fever, muscle aches and congestion.
It has also been reported that some patients have experienced gastrointestinal symptoms such as nausea and diarrhoea.'
I felt not too bad yesterday, managed to eat a reasonable meal, but it came back, suddenly, and with a real vengeance today. I'm going to see if I can get a test kit, in the morning. The test kit I had, expired April 2023. It seems to come and go in waves.
Hadn’t been over the allotment for a couple of days and when I went, I found that courgettes that were the size of my finger were now the size of my arm. I brought them home, put them on my front wall and they were gone within the hour.
Rang the local pharmacy, to check they had Covid test kits in stock, after checking uk.gov site, to see if they were free to me. It suggested I met the free criteria, so I went along with proof. Pharmacy insisted they were no longer free, £2 per single kit, so I paid for one test kit.
Are they, or are they not, free if you qualify?
They are free if you qualify.

They weren’t stolen. They were enjoyed by my community.

Absolutely - CKD4, but I wasn't asked how I qualify. I was simply told that everyone has to pay now..
