I wasn't charged with anything. Nor was I read my rights or cautioned at any point.

Granted, other than the pain in my wrist, which eventually abated after a few weeks and a black cab journey which equalled the monetary value of my alcohol consumption, and the time wasted in the cell, yeah, it wasn't a major deal. I just don't like bullies.
