To all those that welcome/encourage the small boat migrants.

Odd looking army.
Well I don't suppose they would get too far dressed in combats and carrying weapons, but who knows we would probably still house them providing they came in on a small boat. ;)

True what the commentator is saying

been saying it for long enough, we are opening ourselves up to some terrible problems. I will say though that chap has been locked up for 28 days under the mental health laws. He has been sectioned to undergo phsychiatric evaluation. Hopefully after he is released he will get deported.

I'm probably a bit to the right on this.
All immigrants:
Full biometrics to be recorded including fingerprints, DNA, registration of mobile phone and address.
Attendance at 1, 3, 6 and 12 months for assessment
Mandatory notifications of change of address or phone.
Mandatory carrying of ID.
Interdict from possession of any unregistered phone.

Break a law and you get shot, sort of thing.
Seem fair?

Does to me, I see a slight problem with the getting shot bit though tbh.

Would that be for legal immigrants as well.

Soon as they are told that their assylum application has failed, no sight of them afterwards.
Did I miss out the "incarceration until processed" bit??
Unless you put a Asbo ankle collar on them.??

At least you'd still have their DNA.

Would that be for legal immigrants as well.

I don't see why not. The motive being to check where they are, and doing ok.
If they end up on the streets, we'd want to know, in their interest.

If I had another country take me in, I don't think I'd have a problem with that.

Tracing by phone would be quite useful. You know they're where they say they'd be. "Checking up on them" could be by phone once settled.
I should say IS useful. That's why we hand them out!

All quite onerous, but would go some way to quell the "tensions".

I can't see IT people, lawyers and bankers etc. being happy about going through this.
