National Front manifesto 1970’s. Disagree with all of it because it’s only as strong as its weakest link. There are hundreds of thousands possibly millions of people who don’t speak English the way Rupert would like. Do we deport them all? It’s as if the economic damage done by brexhit wasn’t enough so let’s damage the country more. Completely barmy.

Most people don't have a tribe of dependents. But again, and this is a real example - my MIL arrives tomorrow. She doesn't speak English. Does this mean she should be deported pronto?
He could at least set a time limit, surely? Give people a chance to learn the lingo? A year, or two?
Deflection on the point about Brits living abroad and how many of them are relatively fluent in the local language if not English. It's an easy reply to say 'well they speak English in these countries' it can still be asserted it's disrespectful not to learn the language. But hey, one rule for Brits etc.
And I stand by my other point, he's made these wide statements with no indication what the criteria would be. To repeat my point, could have an English speaking immigrant who works from the outset, then has a period of unemployment. How long do they get to find work before they're turfed out?
