It's peed it down for a few weeks now, but we had a run of lovely dry weather last month.
According to a local geezer who documents the weather, the good sunny stuff is due to return this coming week.

A very windy, wet evening yesterday.

Was out walking the dogs this morning in glorious sunshine and was getting quite hot so we went into the woods to get some shade. Within minutes it had gone dark and we had a hailstorm - we didn’t even have any waterproofs with us so we had to shelter under a tree!
Yeah, the clear blue cloudless sky fooled me!
Hail often means thunder and lightning, standing directly under a tree is not a good place to be when there is lightning about.
Well, we lived to walk another day.
Funnily enough, the tree next to us looked like it had been struck by lightning in the past and I considered standing under that one as per the saying..........

not as low, and further north - (and yes 7 days away gfs wil probably (not always) be more acurate
