What have you bought today?

Ordered a Crit'Air certificate for the new car in advance of our trip to France. £4.21 inc postage.

It was only £400 for our Hyundai. When I was negotiating the price, they offered it to me at half price - £200. I told him I'm looking for money off, not money on. I held my stare, said nothing and eventually he said "Okay, I’ll chuck it in for free". Deal concluded. :ROFLMAO:
why i am complaining, I feel totally ripped off as the car is expensive enough without adding that to the bill. It should be a free thing they do.

That was a bit of a cheek if they didn’t ask you. I also got a free handbag with some car care products thrown in.

my new book has just arrived (£2.50 off ebay)- it is the 3rd in the Wideacre series, I like Philippa Gregory's books, in fact I just like books, so much better than TV or film

I am driving around on electric as not sure how to turn the engine on. OMG this is really odd.

Skinflints could have given you the first two as part of the deal.

How's it going with the new motor?

We popped in Lidl this morning, and spotted someone exiting with a combi/airfryer/microwave, but forgot to investigate further. I'd bought a used combi, two or three years ago, in an emergency, as a put us on, after our original died and I couldn't be bothered to fix it. The microwave was fine, but the combi design was pathetic, and you couldn't see through the mesh screen, when it was cooking - so I've been half looking to replace it.

Back home, I checked the specs of the Lidl one, and decided for £129, it was worth a punt, so we went back to see if they had any left. There were just the two remaining, so grabbed one, then found they were in fact £119. It's now temporarily on the wall, in place of the old one, tested, and working, but I need to adjust the spacings of the brackets, to suit the narrower spacing of the four feet.
