What have you been doing today?

At Center Parcs. Took my son and son in law clay pigeon shooting at a local shooting club. I was fooking useless. Went in the pool later and went down the rapids in the pool and in the bit where it got a bit wild and said ‘feet first only', someone crashed into me, spun me round and I went down head first, hitting my head on nearly every bloody bend. Got a nice lump on my head as well as one on my elbow. 7.00 and I’m knackered already and ready for bed!
Last time we went, I had some woman in a panic wrap her legs around my neck, facing me, on the way down in the rapids. The daughter in law still laughs about it to this day - especially when I said "I haven’t even bought you a drink yet". All the ladies mates were laughing at her too. No such luck this time and I went down them half a dozen times!They don't show that on the adverts
An early start - had some booking in the sports hall for 8.00 this morning - some kind of interactive game in a squash court where the back wall is like a giant iPad with different games, all of which involved kicking balls at the 'screen'. The wimmin are in the spa, the son in law is out on a bike ride with my grandson, my son is laying on his bed keeping an eye on our Grandaughter who is having a nap, I’ve cleaned up the kitchen after the morning breakfast. A rare break! Ten pin bowling later and then some pickleball!
During yesterday's rain, we noticed the gutter at the back of the house overspilling, so this morning, we were out investigating, with a selfie -stick, and phone. It's a semi, with a shared single fall-pipe in the middle, but our side of the fence. Earlier in the year, I had some tiles replaced, and the our side of the gutter cleared, but since then, next door have been busy with a whole house refurb, including chimney removal.
The photos revealed our gutter was still fairly clean, but their side entirely choked with debris, and also completely blocking the fall-pipe dog-leg. So we had words with next door, who agreed to 'get it sorted'.

Ah well, it needs done at some point.
A tip. Don’t hire a bike. When you get here, scour the car parks. People just ride them back to their cars and dump them instead of taking them back to the hire centre.

Digging (by hand (& back)) trenches for new mains water to house pipe. Filled 3 1m3 bags with the spoil. What's the betting it won't all go back in.
Water Co. coming tomorrow to fit new stop tap. Plumber coming Thursday to install new pipe to house.
