Anti semitic attack

Are you mad Wayne?

It’s a name and has many different interpretations.

At times as an hatter
As the lab rat I once was
At the way we don’t appear to learn from the past
At the way politicians jump on band wagons to further themselves
At the stupidity of the human race

Maybe

Madness. The government in allowing these protests to continue unhindered means that attacks like the ones yesterday are on them
Stupid boy.
You claim that the attack yesterday was motivated by the marches in London, not the genocide by Israel in Gaza?
The mental gymnastics of some people amazes me.

I think their voters won't think too deeply, but acts like yesterday where yet another Islamic terrorist attack takes place in the UK where we are meant to be a law abiding peaceful country, will lead people to be utterly fed up with the fact we have such a high proportion of people in this country who are likely to carry out such attacks, and they'll vote any way to try and reduce that likelihood.

How many have there been. When was the last one. I've lost track.

Globalise the Intifada

Investigators currently believe the Manchester synagogue attack was an Islamist terror plot, the Daily Express understands.

Last night counter terrorism officers were attempting to ascertain if the attack was linked to Hamas after a suspected plot by the terror group in Germany was foiled hours earlier.
Aah, the Daily Express attempts at disinformation.
And you repeat it.

Countries, UK included have spent the last 2 years demonising Israel, allowing protests with marchers carrying placards that read 'globalise the Intifada'.
Looks like that's beginning to happen.

there is always some truth in everything but rarely the full truth in anything.

Retaliation is likely, but nothing is likely to change much.

While there is a genocide being conducted against Palestinians, by Israel, it's understandable that many will feel ill will towards Jews.
It's wrong of course, but just like misguided people feel ill will towards all Muslims (including you) due to the conduct of some extreme Islamists, some misguided people will identify the actions of a rogue state with all Jews.
Violence breeds more violence.
Only a fool would support violence against one group, (or even stirring hatred against them due to the action of a lone individual) while criticising violence against another group.

There are many on here who have spoken out about yesterdays attack, yet many of those are quiet (or even overtly applaud) when migrants or Muslims are attacked.
You sir, quite simply, are an idiot.

Israel and Gaza is not our country, it's not our conflict, it's war. Hamas attacked Israel. Israel is reacting to that attack. If there are civilian casualties, that's a result of Oct 7th and that happens in war. Many even on this forum would have had relatives killed during WW2 as a result of Nazi Germany trying to conquer many whole countries.

The Israel Hamas War is absolutely no reason to attack and kill Jews in the UK.

We are being led by a weak lawyer who does not stand up for his own people and is not bold enough to call things out for what they are, and brave enough to stop certain things from happening when it is absolutely disgusting in the face of an attack against a certain religious group, eg to allow protests about a war thousands of miles away which is nothing to do with the UK, to continue.

Typical exploitation of a terror attack to focus the attention on immigrants.
The attacker had been in the UK since he was 6 years old. He wasn't a terrorist then.
What are you blethering about?

My post was in response to someone asking what should we be doing to protect our borders.

Wind your neck in.

If the march organisers had had the British decency to postpone last night's protests, that would not be sending the wrong signal. It would be sending the signal that they actually care about the Jewish community in the UK. It would not have hurt their cause any to postpone the march's for a week. That would have been the right time to demonstrate that their protests are solely about Israel and not directed towards Jews in general.

They clearly don't have that level of British decency though, and can't or don't want to separate Israel from Judaism. They are clearly anti Semitic and do not have British decency or values.

That is illogical word salad.

This might be a bit contradictory, however although we live in a country where marches, demos etc are allowed (and thank goodness we do), when something like the Manchester attack happens, the government should put an immediate temporary ban on marches, demos etc. And I mean on either side.

Even just for a week.

One, out of respect for any victims. Two, to at least try and deflate tensions in the days following the attack.
Strange! I don't recall you suggesting that following the Southport attack, neither the killing of little girls, nor the attack against a hotel.

Countries, including the UK have been arming Israel for decades, and are still doing so, providing the means for Israel to commit genocide.
