Right to protest...

the fate of the captives taken two years ago continues to consume their families and supporters, whose mass protests demanding a political deal to free them have persisted throughout the war. Reinforcing that sense of trauma has been the return of thousands of reservists to their lives and families in Israel. Suicide, domestic abuse and what doctors in Israel have described as an epidemic of post-traumatic stress disorder have been the result.

“The toll of the war is visible everywhere,” Goldberg said.

Drivers on Israel’s roads have stopped using turn signals, oblivious or indifferent to other road users. At the beachside Gordon swimming pool in Tel Aviv, which has operated since 1956, a letter was sent to members in August urging them to “avoid any expression of physical or verbal aggression”.

Lol, even though I raised the UN position, the Palestinian position and the Israeli position.
Let's not pretend that you give a balanced view. Everybody knows you don't
You should stick to failing cars for MOT's if they have angry old white drivers.
I will if the car needs failing . But that's regardless of the colour, sex or even attitude of the owner.

Filly is likely to be 1 of the 1st of those in trouble if the "hate police" are monitoring the site.

Oh the irony

Obviously the mods agreed about you 'altering quotes'.
Despite it being the correct use of English grammar.

Using an ellipsis for an omission
An ellipsis can replace unnecessary words in a direct quote to make it more concise, as long as the original meaning is preserved.
  • Original quote: "Today, after months of planning and hard work, we are proud to announce our new product."
  • With an ellipsis: "Today... we are proud to announce our new product".
The original meaning was preserved because I don't omit words to change the meaning of a quote. I merely removed the superfluous words.

It's just common sense that if a group protests because they want to hang their washing out on Tuesday, that we shouldn't have another group who want to stop people from hanging their washing out on Tuesday. Nobody's rights to protest are impacted simply by acknowledging that the two opposing groups are likely clash and that the protests may cause a public order issue.
It is such a simple and logical rule that should be applied, yet some on here struggle to see the logic in it. This is the whole problem with the country today. Common sense cannot be seen or applied.

I'm sure the mods will along shortly with an unreserved apology to you.

You can't stop spontaneous protests.
The one protest incites the other to occur.
Prevent the first and the second doesn't happen.
That's common sense, and sound logic.

It would be warranted, as is an apology from you, for reporting me for my correct use of English grammar.
But I'm not holding my breath for either.
Apologies are very few and far between here, even when they are justified.

Human yeast.
It's odd how adult men and woman are willfully bringing babies into a world when they know at the very least they will endure severe suffering, more likely injury, starvation and death, yet apparently it's us in the West who are uncaring. They look upon children in terms of utility - males will fight the jihad, females will breed more males to fight the jihad.

(Regarding the numbers, I saw the 180 figure last year sometimes. Looking now it's between 100 and 130. But that appears to be not because women are giving birth to fewer children, but because there are far fewer men and women to procreate in the first place and circumstances make conception understandable more difficult. There is no evidence that adults are having fewer babies because they actually care what happens to them.

In the 105 days of this escalation in the Gaza Strip, nearly 20,000 babies have been born into war - (190 per day) Unicef, 2024

There are about 50,000 pregnant women in Gaza, with 4,000 deliveries estimated in March, according to UNFPA [1]. That’s about 130 babies born every day over a month... - Save the Children 2025)
