I could present the law, if I could be bothered but I'm not. When the law was enacted, The West Bank was Jordan and Gaza was Egypt.

Both of which is now occupied by Israel. And there is no way of knowing whether newly migrated Jews are part of the Israeli seizing of Palestinians land, or not.

The Vietnamese were never in the position to defeat the Americans on the battlefield and force them to surrender like they did with the French.
However they won the propaganda war.

Vietnam was one of the most televised wars in history, people could see what was really going on and they didn't like it.

Israel doesn't want to make the same mistake in Gaza, that is why so many journalists have ended up as 'collateral damage'.

The type of warfare that Hamas engages in, is as much political as it is military.
Hamas has been degraded militarily but outside the Western bubble the world sees Israel and America in a very different light.

Exactly and why hamas wanted to continue, the more Palestinians that were getting killed through their hiding amongst the people the better it looked for them.
