Labour receive another kicking at the ballot box.

the facts show the polling putting Reform on 42% and Plaid Cymru on 38% were miles wron

the facts show significant tactical voting because people are so scared of the danger of a Reform govt destroying this country

it turns out people dont want Farage in power flogging the UK to foreign interests for a quick buck
You are so deluded. tactical voting, would have been a conservative Vote as they have more seats. Every single voter would know that this election will not change the makeup of the welsh government.

Not on current performances.

Even if reform get in, I doubt Nigel will want to be PM. He would step down and say, "my job is done".

Nobody in their right mind would want Labour or the Conservatives in government again.

What is the point of voting again for the same people who destroyed the country? It would be like, for example, selecting a group of people to investigate the covering up of the "grooming gang" scandal from the people who did the covering up.

This by-election was a briliant result for Reform, but what it really shows is Labour's poor performance, losing one of their longest held and safest seats. W e have known for a long time that the Conservative Party is finished; Caerphilly has now shown us that the Labour Party is finished too.

lets be honest, the rise of Reform is just another Brexit "will of the people" con job

Not sure I agree with that.

Too many of the electorate see that the big parties don’t care about them.

Ignore them at your peril is my advice to the bigger parties

not when you look at the facts:

Try listening to the political analysis.

Did reform win? Did Tories even turn up ? Where do you think some of those ( and labour) votes went. They didn't flock to reform, so it was anybody but reform.

It’s a fair point. The way the RWR have been crowing about unstoppable Fromage on here, you’d thought Reform would have romped it.
Exactly.

It's a very big question, why didn't they win

2nd place means nothing in win or lose

Not true, given the lack of real choices

Well conflated but not correct

No, it really WASN'T

Yes. I'm sure it might be noticed
W e have known for a long time that the Conservative Party is finished;
They are now reform under a new name
Caerphilly has now shown us that the Labour Party is finished too.
Currently yes. 3 years is a long time in politics though

What it proves is that reform have got a lot more to do yet. They are still a 1 policy party

That’s nonsense, Plaid Cymru were the only option to keep the liars out

Tactical voting was done on this seat to keep out the Reform party liars, grifters and corrupt cheats away from power.

36% Voted reform. There was no "anything but Reform".

The pair of you are delusional.

Reform were expected to win.

If you look at it from their view they suffered from people voting for anybody but them.

You may want to view it as a win, if you are delusional.

Virtually ALL the political analysts they are saying the same thing. There was a lot of tactical voting to keep them out

Yes it was “anything but Reform”

Anybody that wanted to vote for a party not Reform, we’re so scared they put all their support to the party 2nd in the polls.

people are becoming very aware this country is full of uninformed easily led fools and a big effort is required to stop them putting baby Trump in power.

How the 36 per cent who voted re form on a 50 per cent turnout think that will help Wales is beyond me, but a strong turn out by young voters signals hope for left leaning parties like the Groans,
