Who would lie about military service?

Very. "..thou doth protesteth too much...." is a very fitting saying. Interesting how HWM he made a thread about a Welsh-mans' fake military service, all about himself.
Not at all, that was you wasn't it? Why would I make it?

I didn't post the lies - HWM did.

Is that what you think?

One subtle observation: Most vet's I know don't brag about being in the forces, although most will mention it if the subject arises and it's the same with the genuine ones on here. HWM is the polar opposite.
Nonsense, I have never bragged over mmy service due mainly to people like you who are just cowardly and wouldn't understand the first thing about military service and what it entails.

No.

You're saying I and the family I'm from haven't served.

Absolute disgusting stuff
Why is it disgusting when you are saying exactly the same about me, although the big difference is that I have and shown my proof of service.

To be perfectly honest, I really care not what you actually say. I have had so many false claims from you that it is laughable how you dare accuse anyone of lying.

it was you who suggested that someone in the Merchant Navy, ticks the box.

It's a bit ridiculous, even for you.
To educate you.

It was in the 2nd world war, and he was sunk twice. Survived both times.

Take your unpatriotic ass elsewhere.

Apart from this being horseshoite, the main purpose of this place is for the exchange of valid advice, sometimes with a bit of craic along the way.

Posting cobblers and trolling for thwanks from like-minded lackwits, not really.

So let me see if I've got this straight now.

When you alter the attributes of text when quoting someone, to emphasise what you're commenting on but leaving all their text there, and visible to all, that's OK.

When someone alters the attributes of text when quoting you, to emphasise what they're commenting on but leaving all your text there, and visible to all, that's a sneaky, underhand thing to do.

Is that the long and short of it?

Why do you feel the need to ?

Most on here don't. But I know of those that have. They make very very little noise about it.
