How to Add a New 110mm Waste Pipe Into Existing Manhole – Hit Concrete Beneath Clay (Photo Included)

I’ve attached a photo. The top square chamber is the existing brick manhole.
The lower muddy hole with water is where I excavated down through clay soil. After removing the clay, I hit solid concrete, and my pipe runs underneath it.

My questions are:
- What is the correct way to create a new connection here?
Do I use a core drill into the concrete and then add a soil pipe and waterproof around the edge? Or
Do I use core drill into side of manhole?
Or other?

Any building regs rules I should follow for new branch connections, falls, or benching?

I basically need to bring a new 110mm waste pipe from a garden building into this system.

Any guidance on the correct method, tools, adaptors, and what to avoid would be hugely appreciated.

Yes, but the the building regs officer will have his own preferences. Just get him to agree before you do it and it'll keep him/her sweet.

Is connection to do with building regs work?

As mentioned in the first post, I plan to only work on my own private pipe, this is the one pictured on the bottom. I have no interest in modifying the public manhole.

Doesn't matter who owns it, a new drain to a garden room and a new drain connection needs LABC involvement.
