Speeding error

One of my biggest motorway driving bug bears, is re-joining the middle lane, having used the outside lane for overtaking, only to find a parallel vehicle wanting to occupy the same space, but overtaking and exiting the nearside lane - whilst I'm in the van on my own. You have to plan way ahead because your side mirrors aren't always able to capture what you need to see in your blind spots.
Of course an infinite number of different situations can arise while driving, and one has to do one's best in the circs, but there are plenty of drivers who will not use the left lane irrespective. I accept that if you're in a van, with poorer visibility than a car, you're entitled to a bit more leeway!

i wonder if your chosen lane reflects your political leaning

some on here may refuse to come off the hard shoulder
then there will be the climate change deniers bombing down the fast lane in the biggest pickup truck they could find

i'm probably one of those annoying feckers hogging the middle lane

Overtaking on the left.
Ok so you have proved that you are a pedantic ***** --- congratulations
no one else in the world would start an argument about the difference between undertaking and overtaking on the left unless they have some sort of mental condition. Or just __ argumentative .
I would go with both actually -

You would - you always resort to insults and ad-hom attacks when you run out of intelligent things to say.
You are talking about the difference between describing overtaking on the left to - undertaking.
Let me put it plainly to you.
You are an argumentative ******* nutter

Don't you have double mirrors?

People sometime incorrectly set up their mirrors on transits/flatbeds. The big mirror is your blind spot mirror, the small one is your distance mirror. People sometimes set those the wrong way around.

The flat mirror is the general purpose mirror.
The convex mirror is the wide angle mirror.

Some people don't even use them. Hence the extra caution needed

Its not hard to comply with the signage laws
It is on the A34 near me. The signage is all over the place. They have recently changed a long standing 40 stretch to 30.

There are no terminal signs where the speed limit changes, just repeaters, then further up the road you have a stretch where there are repeaters for 40 then suddenly repeaters for 50. Then there are small signs for 30 with a camera underneath. No terminal signs. The signage is all over the place, it's a total and utter mess.

Technically, there is no way the signage complies with the regulations and anybody caught over the limit (whatever that is) would have a field day in court.
