Hoover not sucking

This little hoover isn't sucking into waste storage bit, why's that? Also if I've unblocked the crap in plug hole why isn't it draining quickly?

remove the filter when sucking water
the filter needs to be dried and possibly replaced iff paper and ruined

The sink waste is blocked .
The vacuum filter is probably blocked ( they are wet and dry filters).

Under the filter, is a float valve, which closes, when the water in the container rises beyond a set point, to avoid water entering the motor. Likely, judging by the level of water, in that container, that point has been reached, so it needs to be drained...

Sorry Big-all, All of Keital posts seems to be wind ups. He had one where he had a leak from his van roof into the van, the question was, ' what cloth should he use to catch the water not how to stop the leak.

i have answered many many dozens off his posts with unusual though very unusual to wtf in the back off my mind
on reflexion his mind is wired up differently to others as is mine my philosophy is give the benefit off doubt until the point i will ignore him as i can no longer help or a wind up ---------i have not reach that point yet

This guy seems to be charging customers for his services, and work, as a professional would - yet here is on a DIY forum asking the most basic of questions, many of which are just basic common sense, or easily answered by reading the instructions on the box.
