Hoover not sucking

This little hoover isn't sucking into waste storage bit, why's that? Also if I've unblocked the crap in plug hole why isn't it draining quickly?

remove the filter when sucking water
the filter needs to be dried and possibly replaced iff paper and ruined

Under the filter, is a float valve, which closes, when the water in the container rises beyond a set point, to avoid water entering the motor. Likely, judging by the level of water, in that container, that point has been reached, so it needs to be drained...

Do you never read the instructions provided with these things?

that comment to me seems a bit unkind as it seems fully negative rather than meant to be helpful and useful???

Sorry Big-all, All of Keital posts seems to be wind ups. He had one where he had a leak from his van roof into the van, the question was, ' what cloth should he use to catch the water not how to stop the leak.
