Re check the connections,the 2 blue neutrals in the connector block don't look too good.

Nope no trip just no lights at all, earth's all seated together.

Did you earth the black metal plate?

Yep it's earthed from the ceiling fixing, screws together with a bolt so it's earthed

6 ways to the pendant , rather than 1 connection - so needs 7 way , and for the neutral in/out and 6 way = 8
hence 10way suggestion, which i was going to suggest form TLC , but not sure if they would fit in the void in the pendant or have to be used , pushedinto the ceiling void and so needs a box

Did you look at the picture? We‘re talking about one light with six leads exiting a single canopy. I‘d have expected the manufacturer to crimp these six neutrals and lives together with a short fly lead each to be honest.

That’s almost what they did, look at the photo in post #3. Three wires per crimp. (I’m not sure what’s under the black tape in that photo.) But he seems to have chopped those crimps off.

Yes, I interpreted that as the old light to be replaced but it does look a lot like the one in post #12. Looks like bullet connectors, I'd have expected simple crimps with a clear plastic cap. They're a bit like a bootlace ferrule, just with one end closed. All wires are pushed into the other end and the whole lot is crimped, then covered with the plastic cover.
Frankly the posts are a bit confusing. Either way, using Wago connectors is a decent solution.
