Asylum hotels

Brexit caused the huge rise in small boats.

Pure and simple.

So, how many who voted Brexit are now shouting about the crossings and the related trouble?

Who was it crowing for Brexit originally?

Was it Farage?

There would be nothing wrong with that if they kept them in there until their asylum claim is either agreed or rejected.

I agree in principle, however the time for such principles has passed, now that we have imported MILLIONS of economic migrants and fake refugees in an uncontrolled and unlimited way and nobody in power wants to remove them.

It's neither pure nor simple, nor anything to do with Brexit, the rise in small boat crossings followed the increased security against lorry stowaways and the introduction of scanning machines for lorries.

The "blame Farage" loons ignore the fact that Nige was one of the first people to report on the Kent coast boat landings, and that for a long time the loons didn't believe him. When it became official loon policy to acknowledge the boats, they claim they are his fault!

But there's millions of illegal immigrants living in France, Germany, etc - and they're still in The EU last time I checked.

So, to get this straight, they're not coming here because of the free 4* hotels, 3 free meals a day, free money, free medical care, free dental care, free bikes, Deliveroo jobs on the side, etc, etc, etc. It's because we're no longer in The EU.
