Suella Braverman defects to Reform UK

Its all going exactly as I said it would even before farage stood to be an MP.
Wondering where that prominent labour mp is though - the one farage promised during jenricks defection.

Did he promise MP, or ex-MP?

If the latter my money is on Kate Hoey.

Hey brains, I’ll ask you the same question that Noseall swerved. Let’s see if it’s too difficult for you too.
Should be a simple question for someone like you who describes yourself as a person "capable of independent thought".

Who do you think we should be voting for at the next GE?

(Watch Ellal try to swerve this by saying "Not Reform").
I'm going to speculate that Ellal would vote Green, seems like a closet communist to me.

For the record, I'll vote Reform, for MP, councillor, mayor, class president or anything else. We desperately need a proper version of what the tories once were, before they mutated into being Labour 2. Kick the country up the backside, upset the wishy washy lot and make life bloody tough for those who can't be bothered to contribute to society.

The Tories are the most successful party in UK history. They were always the sensible lot who picked up the pieces after Labour had made a mess for one term before getting booted out.
Then why are they moving to re form instead of sorting out the mess? The “sensible” toreys - like Ken Clark and other remainers - were forced out by Borris or simply deselected.

They were out of power from 1997-2010. They lost all their confidence and became a fake version of Labour, trying to emulate them. Cameron going on his polar voyage and hugging a hoodie was the exact moment it all went wrong.

Most who were in power before 1997 would now be retired, so the old tory party has pretty much vanished. There are so many Blairist lefties in positions of power it probably can't be turned around, at least not without a massive internal fight. So just move on, leave it to die. Perhaps a few people who don't really understand and just slavishly vote blue will carry on, they'll just be the new Lib Dems, a pointless party that keeps going but never gets any power.

Lefties can pick labour or green. It doesn't really matter, there are so few of them they'll never get elected again without the mainstream support they need, which will never return within a lifetime after the completely insane Starmer experience.

or...they emulated American Republicans and went insane.

It worked because Camoron stayed in power. What went wrong was the referendum, I’m surprised you’re so harsh on him, or has that been forgotten?

You do realise that some of the biggest brexhit/re form support is from the unemployed in economically deprived areas like the north. All courtesy of Maggie taking a wrecking ball to subsidised nationalised coal and steel industries

There was nothing remarkable about Maggie's time in terms of coal production. It was doomed from the 1950s, you fell for the left's lies about it...

Have you heard of that stuff we call "Gas"? It's like coal, but way better for the environment and it pops out of the ground all by itself, you don't need to lug the stuff around.

We progressed. We failed to create new industries, and taxed what we had to death.

We imported more expensive coal from for example Poland after the 84 strike because Maggie was successful in destroying the power of the NU M. The decline of mining was a self fulfilling prophecy,

Havd you heard of wind power?

Have a look at the graph I linked previously.

There was a period where we imported, until the coal power stations retired. But the industry was already dying before Maggie, she had no effect at all on the rate of decline. It wasn't a persecution against unions, just what was already happening (under Labour) and was inevitable.

Can you imagine sending the average 18 year old (or younger) down a mine these days? They'd have PTSD or some kind of stress attack. Plus of course you'd need to employ 50% women, and disabled people. It looks like the most bloody awful job imaginable, plus the skies were black in every town and people died in their 50s with all the thick toxic pollution.

Wind power is great, just as long as everyone's happy to switch everything off while it doesn't blow. Or you need gas power stations too, in which case there's hardly any point and it's probably more expensive.

That is why they want everyone to have a smart meter "its for your benefit and convenience" "protect" "secure", - when you hear those words from the government - that's your sign to resist.
