I live on a end terrace house and i have a side patio which i am covering in to use as a extra little addon on room to the house.
I have done the roof (no issue there).
I have cladded the outside wall with this stuff,
Tanalised T&G Scandinavian Redwood V Joint EX 100 x 25mm.
I didnt seem to be getting any leaks through it.
So i insulated the inside of the cladded bit with this:
Jabfloor 70 Polystyrene Insulation Board.
I insulated it a couple of weeks ago, I packed it up very tight to the outside cladding and any gaps i could see where i hadnt insulated properly, i stuck bits of rock wool in it. However I have just inspected that wall and noticed wooden joist, cladding and rock wool is wet!! Could this be down to over insulating it, am I supposed to leave a gap between cladding and insulation?? I can`t see any leaks coming in anywhere.
I am guessing i dont need to treat the cladding because it is already treated.
I have attached some image of after i have took the insulation back out.
Any help would be really appreciated>
