Sir Keir does it again!

More good news for borrowers....The Bank of England has held interest rates at 3.75% but signalled that further cuts are now "likely" later in the year as inflation falls back to the Bank's 2% target faster than expected.

Sir Keir managing the economy whilst fending off hostile attacks at the same time playing Trump like a fiddle. What a guy!

Trumpf’s supporters on here will be temporarily stumped. Somebody’s explained the deal to him and it doesn’t compute with tabloid explanation

Are we talking Trump's second U-turn on the Chagos deal. Taking him back to where he started.

But not good news for the employed an unemployment is up and business failures increase

Yes far more U turns than the government, but his followers convince themselves it’s all for a reason, like disciples of a cult

Holding the interest rate when it is supposed to be coming down is not something to be proud about. It’ll never get to 2% in this year.

No. But businesses can look forward to them being lowered in the near future. At least Sir Keir hasn't had to go begging or dictating like the orange moron.

Roger that. I'll let Mrs N know.

Didn't some bright spark on here argue that Trump was "sold the same deal, repackaged to look like new one" or some such?

Trump seems to be claiming that the UK has given the US additional security guarantees.
