I have a basin to swap is cracked. About 10 years old. Imagine if he best of getting a new waste for the basin. What about the tap? If I keep the tap when swapping over would you replace the Flexi tails? Would be M10 ones monoblock mixer. Thanks

If you want to avoid any swearing with damaged seals, just get a new waste, they're cheap.
If the tap is ok you can refit it.
Bear in mind that some taps don't have removable tails, so check that first.

If getting a new waste and going for a click clack... Get one of the mushroom ones as the whole thing can be pulled out and cleaned when needed... The internal throat ones get stuck and can't be pushed to pop up. You get call backs with these cos they is shyte!
