Just realised we hadn’t bought insurance for this so quickly bought it today. GHIC is no good for a cruise within the EU. I’ll try not to lick the banisters this time……….A little fly cruise. I’ve got one of those ultrasonic cleaners. I occasionally put my watch and some of Mrs Motties jewellery in it. The crap that comes out - unbelievable!A bottle brush from home bargains £1.50 to scrub my bike chain before putting it in the sonic cleaner machine.

This was a deep clean, chain off via a "Quick Link" back wheel off, take the cassette off, give it a clean then throw it and the chain in the sonic cleaner. If I'm cleaning the chain on the bike I use a nail brush. Get the rear wheel off the ground on a maintenance stand and turn the pedal as the chain runs over the brush, top, bottom and both sides of it. Then some WD40 on a rag and finally some chain lube.
