The Vietnam war.

Agreed. Extremely boring.
Good film if I remember correctly...

There aren't many countries willing to help Trump in Iraq.
Typo, freudian slip??

The Vietnam war was the radio news backdrop to my growing up. Voices from people like Michael Charlton still resonate - the Tet offensive , and all that. I would go home for lunch each day, and he was reporting from somewhere which sounded desperate. I got interested in photography about then. War photographers' heyday, folk like Don McCullin were treated like ranking military, and got carried about freely. It took its toll on him. His is an interesting story if you come across one of his books.

Trump could have bombed a few more nuclear facilities and stopped. My fear is that he'll just leave a mess of anger. The Iranians have a lot of tunnels to hide things in, T can't get them all. He said all the policemen have to give in or they'll die, but he doesn't have omnipotence. There will be a lot of bitter people out to get him, the USA, the West, who knows? Rory Stewart is good on this sort of stuff.

The list is long. There will be a queue soon. Like his idol Adolf, Trump only hears the things he wants 'yes' people to say to him. Even his own people will be getting wary and disillusioned.
Thank God we don't have that hideous garbage over here.
