Today was quite a good day, but not exceptional.

True, not 'exceptional', but relatively unusual.

Of the currently-available sources of electricity which do not involve 'fossil fuels' (or burning anything else biological in origin), it would seem that only nuclear, hydro and 'wave/tide' (not that such is appreciably used) can provide relatively 'guaranteed' electricity for 24/7 - there is therefore quite a long way yet to go!
