Ginger men who now identifies as a woman.

Let me know when you're ready for a serious discussion and I'll participate.
You caved in rather quickly

What's needed is common bloody sense, something that's sadly lacking in these days of extreme argue-to-death nonsense.

I knew someone who was born somewhere between male and female. Her dad was asked to name the gender, he chose male. I don't know what the chromosomes said. In adult life he became a she. Not a proud shouty drag queen, just a quiet person wanting to get on with their life in peace. She looked like a woman, but if you knew more you could see the clues, e.g. big hands.

She would look completely normal entering a women's toilet, and would create an incident entering a men's toilet. Women's toilets have an advantage for anyone in-between, as you have separate cubicles, not like the men's where there's exposed communal peeing. I've no idea what she actually did. But I'm sure things are more difficult nowadays, now that shouty well-meaning idiots have blown the whole thing up on a massive scale and associated her with a bunch of freak show attention-seeking perverts.

But the law now requires transmen to use the female spaces.

No it doesn't.

This is not true.

It is a fiction you have invented for yourself because you want the world to think that men who pretend to be women are treated unkindly.

Horses and lots of other animals see colours differently to humans.
I know, right. I thought of a bee as they're starting to buzz about looking for honey fuel and consider my hat fair game at this time of year. Fiddler crabs have polychromatic vision to help 'em spot seagulls a mile away before people even know they're there - in-built sunshades. How cool is that.

Yes it does.

Transmen probably have a birth certificate that says they're biologically female. Therefore they should use the women only spaces.
I'm amazed that I have to explain that to you.
And because I have to explain it to you, it illustrates your poor understanding of the issue and the judgement of the Supreme Court.

How will the women in these female only spaces feel when someone, who to all intents and purposes appears to be a man, walks in?
Those transmen have every right to be in those spaces.

The same applies to transwomen in the male only spaces. They probably have a birth certificate that states they are biological men, but they probably appear to be women.

It's not a fiction, that's how idiotic the recent Supreme Court judgement was.
Transmen (biological women) should use the female only spaces. And transwomen (biological men) should use the male only spaces.

In general men are stronger and faster.
Strawman argument.

In many sports they have been designed to test strength and speed.
If they were designed differently, women could well have the advantage.
But in the last few decades, there has been a noticeable swing in the realm of endurance athletics. Now more than ever, women are closing the gap with respect to their male counterparts in ultra-long distance races, including running, biking and swimming. In some cases, women are even outperforming men at the elite level, winning a number of top-tier events. So what are the reasons for this changing of the guard, and why is it happening now?
Many experts believe that about a third of the difference in performance between male and female athletes can be attributed to the door opening for more women to compete. But why does this effect endurance athletics the most?
There are a number of other physiological advantages for women at long distances. Women’s muscles tend to be smaller than men’s, but over long distances this means that they do not tire as quickly since their hearts do not have to work as hard to pump as much blood. Women have been found to recover faster than men, utilize fat stores for energy more efficiently than men, and hold a consistent pace nearly 20% better than men. All of these things add up over the length of high endurance races of all kinds, allowing women to perform better compared to men than they do at shorter distances.

There are still many factors in this area of biomechanics research which are unsure, but one thing is sure. As more women continue to participate in athletics and especially high endurance athletics, there is no telling the limit to how fast and how far they may go.
