Hikvision doorbell camera

If it’s been set, SADP would show the address has changed.

can’t remember on that specific doorbell, but they often come with a verification code/password to log in.

Have you actually set the ip address on the camera or are you just putting it in the nvr... does it show up in SADP ?

It could also be that something else on the network is already using the 113 address. By the way it is of no use to redact your LAN ip addresses as this is only accessible within your network.

I’ve got an iDS-7204HUHI-M1/FA/A DVR with 4 cameras connected, I’ve connected a DS-KV6113-WPE1(C) doorbell, connected to the DVR via a POE Switch which works perfectly.

I’ve not got a NVR but seem to recall reading that it needs to be connected via a POE switch rather than plugged directly into the NVR, I could be mistaken but I’m sure someone on here with far more knowledge will come along and say yes or no.

I hope you’re right. Secureiam remotely took control of my computer, and said the same thing as you. I’ve ordered a switch but ordered the wrong one I didn’t realise It had to be a POE switch as the first one didn’t power up the camera.
It’s arriving today, so will try tonight.

Fingers crossed, the Ethernet cable, as well as communicating between the NVR and Doorbell it will supply the power to the DS-KV6113.
I altered the firmware (model (C) only) in settings to output to “mechanical chime” then connected the N / 0 and Common wires to a Byron 776 chime.
So as well as notifying via Hik-connect app the chime rings
