They need you to fill a W-8Ben? I have to do that for my US account, but never for my UK one?

I would personally suggest he invests £1000 not a tenner.
 
I think when you see '79% of traders lose money on our platform' when these companies advertise, it pretty much sums up trading ain't for everyone.

I started using a S&S ISA a few years back, wish I'd started a decade earlier.

Difference being I have had some great advice on here to make me a bit more comfortable to try it out. I don’t mind dabbling with 5k but I wouldn’t dare with any more than that. I have budgets for all of my hobbies and this is the first for me with trading. But at least I am willing to give it a go. You may take the mick but I will be the one making millions, think on !!!!!!!!!

Years back I created a sandbox account on IG. I think I received $800 in play money. Built my account to something like $3-4k within a few weeks, however if I'm being honest I think it was as much down to good luck than anything else!

Yes sign W-8Ben.

Global funds have American stocks and you don't pay tax on American dividends.
UK and America have an agreement.
It's all linked with your national insurance number.
Just sign. Jump through hoop. Crack on
