What have you bought today?

Can she ride a bike?
Yes she has a harley Davidson 883 custom. Or I should say she did, we traded it in against this, she is going to get the same but a 500cc one as it is smaller for her. This one is a beast of a bike.

Picking up my new bike today. I couldn't sleep last night. I need dropping off at the bike shop and they open at 8.30am, Lena decides to go get her nails done at 9am !!!!!! I now have to wait until she gets back to get it, she just doesn't understand me.

(y) That’s the exact car/spec we have. I love it. What colour? Ours is ecotonic grey.

When we got home it rung a bell that you had cos I remembered mentioning the Santa Fe. We went to our usual place last weekend and they had nothing that appealed, we've had the Discovery for 4 years now and it's on 70k, whilst it's been a stunning car and apart from an airbag module has been trouble free, but at that mileage things can suddenly get expensive on one of those, and they're not cheap to run at the best of times. On the way home mrs filly suggested dropping into a nearby main dealer and for her it was love at first sight. 3 years old, 20K miles, silver. I'm not sure It would have been my 1st choice if it hadn't been fully loaded but the 'ultimate' spec is b100dy good, leather, elec boot & sunroof and 240 bhp is not to be sniffed at.
Mrs fillys looking forward to the fuel savings being a petrol hybrid and got a pleasant surprise when the insurance came in at £200 less, she's looking forward to playing with it, she likes her tech.

I kept wandering over to drool at a Santa Fe, I reckon that's one to rival Range Rover, but had to agree with mrs filly, too big.

She doesn't pick it up till Thursday, she can't wait.

You can't blame her for the fact you haven't trained her properly.

I make you right about the Disco. At 70k you are very near, if not into, timing chain change territory! I think ours is the same as yours body wise but it’s the facelift model. Slightly different dash is the main thing I think but they are a very nice and comfortable car to drive. I love the heads up display too - don’t know how I ever managed without one. ;)

I saw a new one with a nicer dash. What's the heads up display, is that where it projects stuff onto the windscreen?, don't think ours has that.

If you haven't already got one, I'd highly recommend a de walt stand. Had mine knocking on for 25 years now. Extendable enough to handle long lengths of decking but even for short stuff, a good stable support.

Yeah, projects speed, satnav directions, speed camera warnings and a whole load of other stuff onto the lower screen. Make you nervous of taking your eyes off of it to look at the screen after a while! Pretty sure you should have that on your model as well as heated and cooled memory seats. (y)
