What have you bought today?

I make you right about the Disco. At 70k you are very near, if not into, timing chain change territory! I think ours is the same as yours body wise but it’s the facelift model. Slightly different dash is the main thing I think but they are a very nice and comfortable car to drive. I love the heads up display too - don’t know how I ever managed without one. ;)
I am going to get the bat wing fairing for it with a taller screen, £500 but definately worth it.

I fitted a very large screen to one of my bikes. So large that at speed, the vacuum and turbulence pulled me towards the screen! I cured it by fitting an 'air balance vent' at the bottom of the screen.

Yes the batwing has vent slots in it to prevent that happening, I like a bit of wind in the summer but prefer the larger screen in the colder months.

OMG I have fallen in love with this bike already, OMG like me it sure has some moves, it flies with loads of power on tap, the engine note is amazing with the Arrow exhaust on, not lairy but definately a rebel, it has the Africa twin 1100cc engine. Muscle that can hussle. Lena says I look like the terminator on it, a muscle bike for a muscle guy. A perfect match...

I wouldn't stick that screen on, it has a cool fat boy look about it. If you put the screen on, it will start to look like a 'glide and they are not cool.

That had crossed my mind too, I dont like the harleys with those on them, similar to the gold wings, dont like those either.

I did the big Sur (pacific coast highway) on an electra glide. You had to give it 2 business days notice to stop or make a bend. Not my cup of tea, but cheaper to rent than a pan euro which is what I would have preferred.
