Planes two minutes apart never climb to same height on same route.
You can’t judge plane height from ground , only a dumb f*ck would think they can .

I just double checked and planes following each other are typically separated by 1,000 feet in the UK. But 2-3 minutes is roughly the minimum time separation for larger planes.

So one or the other could be true, they could be at the same altitude but far further apart, or they were fairly close and different altitudes.

Thats not how plane routing works. If they're on crossing paths then they're a minimum of 3,000 feet different.

2-3mins apart is 25miles at cruising speed . Trail is not constant it starts to dissipate the second it leaves the aircraft .

You are not paying attention are you. Using the app and others for a few years and noting the height that the app tells you then with practice you can start to estimate the height just by looking at the plane in the sky

I am saying they are on a slightly different route so one has passed and the other crosses very close to the path the other one was at so they have both gone through roughly the same patch of sky yet one cons and the other chems, ruling out the atmospheric debunk angle.

Trail is not constant it starts to dissipate the second it leaves the aircraft .

So on the one hand Air Traffic regulations say that planes following the same track closely should have 300 feet of vertical separation and planes crossing should have a minimum of 1,000 -2,000 feet of vertical separation.

On the other hand we have Aveatry who can judge altitudes by eye who says they were the same altitude.

Its tricky which to believe here.

So how close were these planes flying to each other so you think? At what altitude? You said the same altitude, I'm curious how exact that 'same' is.

Precisely the same or plus/minus 10ft, 100ft, 1000ft, 10,000ft?
