Absolutely this, back when images had to be engraved in rock the lack of any pgotogrpic evidence was understandable. Now everyone is roughly 5cm from a 6mp camera 24/7 the lack of any footage of aliens is pretty substantial.

Now there is footage of odd things but they get debunked quite quickly.
