I have never (to my knowledge) seen a UFO, it doesn't stop me believing there is other life forms in the Universe. To not believe would be like a microbe on a grain of sand believing there's was the only grain of sand with microbes on it.

You've beat me to it with that analogy. Everything we know is limited to what science currently knows, that much is logical. However, I sometimes think the galaxies they know about might be, relatively speaking, the size of a grain of sand. And there might be an entire beach of sand beyond.

We need air, water, shelter and food to survive. Who says other living entities need the same? Again, we are basing things on what science currently knows.

I would assert, to assert earth is thee only place that supports life is to be narrow-minded in the extreme.
