Hi there,

Daft question, which I'm struggling to work out how to do: how can you have a zone that is omitted by default, and only included (guard or entry/exit) in a part-arm? I was hoping to set the zone type to "not used" and then set "guard" for attribute 1, but clearly setting the zone in this way completely disables it.

I'm sure there's an obvious way to do this, but I can't find it!

Thanks in advance.

I had this exact same issue due to leaving a dog in a room when I leave during the day whilst in FULL set.

short answer, it can't be done. Zones can only be omitted manually in a FULL set.

long answer, there is a way to do it but involves wiring an output into a zone set to an 'omit key', you need to program every other zone as NOT ommitable, leave the zone you want ommited with the ommitable atribute then set the output as "Area" 22 "Full Armed". When the system does a Full Set, this will cause the Omit Key to activate the zone, shunting any "Omittable" zones.

Thanks, I'm glad I wasn't just missing something obvious.

I might just have the user (my parents!) swap over their main full arm and their night time part arm as this would fix it immediately and allow me to do the omit that they want. Or just add a second part arm would also work.
