lovely lovely tool i love it buuuuttt its wrong
with a router you sit it in front off you
you go for the handles -----not right the angles wrong completely against what you expect
scratch head .... then discover its the wrong way round as you no longer work from the front off the router
you have to work from the back and its brilliantly set up for this and the only reason i can see is youtube and similar need the logo off the tool prominent so the user is second best
i am just not used to focusing on the back off a tool with the ratings plate

They should have a little DeWalt flag flying on the top of it, then it can be shown off from all angles.

Although if Nosey hasn't got his Gregorys on, he might try and drive his golf ball towards it.

its 1700w with a powerstack battery a bit less with any other as in flexvolt or xr so should do it easily it does in fact have an approaching overload warning so you can reduce load a bit

as an aside you would probably need 2 or 3 batteries fully charged as a 5ah battery contains [18x5x60]5400wm so about 3 mins at 1700w

Blimey, 3 minutes... I will stick with my old corded Dewalt DW625EK. I only work in domestic properties, so I am happy to use corded 230v tools, and when it comes down to it, most of my tools are connected to my dust extractor. The vacuum hose is far more cumbersome than the flex.
