I accuse one poster of being a Zionist, and my post is deleted. The same poster frequently and wantonly accuses many others of being Hamas, Iran or terrorist supporters, and no action is taken.

By the same token, several posters frequently and nefariously criticise whole groups, and individuals, of certain ethnicities. Whether their criticism is justly deserved or not we'll never know, because those guilty ones frequently express racist comments.
Buy I criticise one poster for blatant hypocrisy and my post is quickly deleted.

I'd like to know is this forum policy or just the personal actions of the mods to allow such obvious racism to be perpetuated, while protecting those guilty of overt racism from fair criticism?

This mod doesn't know why your post was deleted or who did it.
I couldn't care less what anyone's opinion is, it's 99% about how you behave.
A lot of racism goes unseen and unedited but it's always possible that it'll get deleted. It's more likely that it was seen as ad-hom comments.
Accusing someone of anything pejorative is against the rules.
No mod has a political bias as far as I know.
If you get a post deleted, ask yourself why. We don't do discussions. You cannot ever use any one post as a lever to support yours.

If you break the speed limit, YOU deserve to get the ticket. If someone goes by faster while the cop's busy, tough, it doesn't help you.

First of all, as previously explained, I didn't report your post because you called me a zionist.

You can call me a zionist from morning till night and I won't be offended. I support Israel, I support their right to exist and to have a share of their historic homeland, if that makes me a zionist then so be it, I'll take that and wear the badge with honour.
It's worth noting that I also support the Arabs having their own homeland as well, it's a shame they've rejected the notion so many times.

That's personal abuse and that's why you were reported and that's why your post was deleted.

Israel has never been committed to a two nation solution, and any lip service 'offer' meant to give the Palestinians a token strip of land was a total sham/no go...

Instead what we have now is a 'river to the sea' land grab/ethnic cleansing/genocide by the fanatical zionists...

There's a lot of debate here. Some of it literally concerns life and death, so people do get bothered about it. But there's a line somewhere, clearly you crossed it.

If fillyboy's recollection of what you posted is correct then I'd agree that you definitely crossed that line.

There has to be a line somewhere, and wherever it is won't please everyone.

The world doesn't neatly divide into goodies and baddies, as you appear to think. I'm sure a tiny minority want to be evil, but most on whatever side think they're fighting for what's right. The question is what they believe and why, not whether they agree with your view or not.

Personally I don't care what one lot's doing to the other lot or vice versa in the middle east.

There have always been terrible wars, cruelty and suffering in other parts of the world, since time began.

I do care that this is infesting our politics, to the detriment of people on both sides here.

If you care passionately about one lot or the other then buy some camo, get a flight and go and fight for them. Otherwise shut up.
